Fourth Sarsanghachalak (1922–2003)
A scholar. A servant-leader. A bridge between thought and action.
Born in Shahjahanpur (Uttar Pradesh) in 1922, Rajju Bhaiya was a brilliant physicist. He was the Head of the Physics Department at Banaras Hindu University, who chose a life of national service over academic fame.
Got associated with RSS in his youth, he balanced a thriving academic career with tireless work for the Sangh, earning respect for his humility, integrity, and visionary leadership.
As the fourth Sarsanghachalak, Rajju Bhaiya led RSS into an era of social outreach and nation-building, expanding its influence across Bharat. He championed grassroots work and inspired swayamsevaks to serve with heart and intellect.
Rajju Bhaiya’s life is a powerful example that:
You can be a thinker and a doer.
You can honor tradition while driving modern progress.
True leadership begins with selfless service.
Profound yet accessible, Rajju Bhaiya’s journey reminds us that the greatest change begins from within, and spreads through service to society.
This is our path. एष: पंथाः।
