Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA) is a Swadeshi science movement that blends modern scientific advancement with the spiritual and cultural ethos of Bharat. Founded in 1992 in Jabalpur by RSS-inspired volunteers, its roots trace back to a 1991 Nagpur meeting and an earlier initiative led by Prof. K. I. Vasu at IISc Bengaluru.

VIBHA emphasizes that unlike the West, Bharat's strength lies in harmonizing science with human values and spiritual depth. With a presence in 22 states and work across 11 domains, VIBHA promotes a science that serves national interests and reflects Bharatiya traditions. It strives to interlink modern and ancient sciences, and believes that natural and spiritual sciences can co-exist and nourish each other. For VIBHA, this Swadeshi scientific vision is a powerful tool for national reconstruction.

VIBHA has initiated efforts like the Vishwa Veda Vijnan Sammelan, awareness on the role of scientists in the freedom struggle, and indigenous defence science promotion. It also works to introduce scientific terminology in all Bharatiya languages and advocates for including India's scientific heritage in education. Through seminars, lectures, and youth programs, VIBHA inspires a national resurgence rooted in Bharatiya knowledge and spirit.
