Mohan Bhagwat, born in 1950 in Chandrapur, Maharashtra, leads the RSS today as its sixth Sarsanghachalak. From a young age, stepped in a family of swayamsevaks, he embraced the RSS ethos of service and nation-building.After completion medical education in veterinary in seventies, he became a full-time pracharak, a defining choice that shaped his life’s mission.
Rising through the ranks, from physical training head to national leadership, Mohan ji is known for his pragmatic, inclusive, and future-facing leadership.
His message to today’s youth:
- Embrace Hindutva not only as political ideology but also as a cultural and inclusive force.
- Stand against caste discrimination and foster Samajik Samarasta (social harmony)
- Balance modern thinking with the timeless wisdom of Bharatiya civilization
- Address global challenges with self-confidence and self-reliance
Mohan ji envisions an India where ancient values and modern aspirations walk hand-in-hand, an India that contributes to the world as Vishwa Guru, guided by Dharma .i.e human values.For the youth of Bharat, he offers a simple yet powerful message: be rooted, be progressive, be fearless.
