Akhil Bharatiya Poorva Sainik Seva Parishad (ABPSSP) is a national, non-political organization of ex-servicemen (ESM), dedicated to harnessing their discipline, experience, and patriotism for national development. Formed in 1992 in Uttar Pradesh and nationally recognized by 1995, ABPSSP unites former personnel across ranks and services, committed to social upliftment, rural outreach, and national security.
Guided by the ideals of unity and national consciousness, ABPSSP actively works toward education, healthcare, disaster relief, Swachh Bharat campaigns, and civic awareness. It has a robust structure with central and state units operating at district and block levels across India.
The Parishad supports ex-servicemen and their families in post-retirement rehabilitation with dignity.
It runs scholarship schemes for their children, provides financial aid to widows, and assists in resolving resettlement concerns. During the Kargil War, ABPSSP helped escort casualties, supported families of martyrs, and facilitated treatment of the injured.
Recognized by the Ministry of Defence, ABPSSP celebrates Kargil Vijay Diwas annually, and remains an active voice on national security issues. Through health camps, blood donation drives, and service-oriented events, ABPSSP proves that the soldier’s duty doesn’t end at retirement—it transforms into service to society.
